FosterHub was designed by a foster coordinator for foster coordinators and foster programs. It came from real rescue work: the daily movement of animals, people, requests, updates, status changes, and decisions that all need to stay clear.

Founder origin
FosterHub did not begin as a startup idea. It began as overwhelm.
As a foster coordinator, everything was coming from every direction: messages, foster updates, new requests, status changes, scheduling needs, adoption interest, and small details that mattered more than they looked like they did.
The work was meaningful. The systems around it were messy. Information lived in group chats, spreadsheets, screenshots, inboxes, and memory. Nothing lived in one place.
Important details got buried. A foster update could be separated from the animal record. A sitter request could sit beside unrelated messages. A status change could depend on someone remembering to update the right place at the right time.
I was not just managing a system. I was holding it together.

The real problem
Foster programs are often built on passion, not infrastructure.
Rescue teams are asked to coordinate a huge amount of moving information with tools that were never designed for foster care.
